How was 2014 for you and your sector?
2014 was a year in which we achieved our targets and achieved good results. In 2015, with the upcoming elections, we observe that the economy in general has become stagnant. We think that after this stagnation and election process, things will get even better.

In which areas do you use AI/DC equipment as Pakpen?
We use handheld terminals and barcode printers in both our production and logistics processes. We use it extensively, especially in stock management. We actively use AI/DC hardware integrated with the SAP infrastructure. In this respect, the compatibility of the AI/DC hardware offered by Luna Information Technologies with the SAP infrastructure provides very productive results for us.

How did you decide on Motorola and Zebra products?
We decided to work with Motorola and Zebra brands due to the recommendations of the Luna Information Technologies team and the combination of product features suitable for our needs. After reviewing the demo of the product, we did the tests. Our IT team performed very well in these tests and gave us a positive report. As a result, we used our decision on Motorola’s side. We are currently actively using Motorola MC9090 and MC65 products in our production waresites.

How did you implement solutions for security?
As IT, we try to be sensitive about information security. We have activated the firewall software between the network devices that the hand terminals communicate with and the system, and tried to minimize the vulnerabilities that may come from the hand terminals.

What did you do for the security of hand terminals?
In line with our request, Luna Information Technologies technical team implemented the solution to run only the applications we wanted on our handheld terminals, and in this way, we got rid of many troubled situations.
What are the support/services you received from Luna Information Technologies Technical Service and can we also learn about your satisfaction?
In case of damage to our devices, such as breaking or falling, we receive service at an affordable price. We are very pleased with the information and services provided by the technical service.

What were your achievements as a result of these studies?
Compared to the past, we are doing much better stock tracking. In the installation part, we are able to use AI/DC hardware much more effectively. We have minimized human-based errors. Our system has come to the point where it can detect human-based errors and we have started to make measurements more healthily.

We are extremely pleased with Luna Information Technologies’ interest in determining our needs and after-sales services. On the technical side, we receive on-time answers to product-related problems.
